Has some tanning along edges of pages, but binding and pages are still very tight. I looked through it and there were a few lines in the entire book that were underligned, but I didn't see much and no highlighting. The cover has a lot of shelf wear but is not falling apart and it's all still readable. The back cover is better than the front. For the price and this version, which is harder to find I think it's priced fairly.
