Books in Abracadabra series

Abracadabra Recorder Books 1-4 is the ideal repertoire series for descant recorders. Each book includes graded solo and multi-part songs and tunes starting with five-note tunes such as Shepherds' Hey and working up to more challenging classics such as You are my Sunshine and The Wombling Song. Clear fingering diagrams and notation explanations are given at each stage. Abracadabra Recorder Book 2 contains 23 great songs and tunes, including Scarborough Fair and Morning has broken.

This book is part of a series of pieces offering a companion to piano lessons from the earliest stages through to Grade 1. The arrangements and progression of skills are aimed at helping the child develop a secure and confident technique. As well as pieces to play, there are songs to sing, opportunities for improvising, having fun with scales and fingering and activities for establishing a clear understanding of musical concepts. The repertoire is drawn from a wide range of sources, including classical, folk, pop and jazz. The author has also written "Playalong Songs" and "The Music Funshop"."

A pupil's tutor on playing the clarinet. The handbook is accompanied by a play-along CD performed by professional musicians, demonstrating each piece on the clarinet with piano accompaniments enabling the pupil to hear how the pieces should sound. The clarinet and piano are recorded on separate channels so that students may turn down one speaker to listen to the clarinet on its own, and the other to play along with the piano.
