  • Mrs. Hunny Bunny's New Spring Hat

    Cora Miskimen

    Paperback (PublishAmerica, March 10, 2008)
First and foremost, IÂ’m Grandma, and to me that is the sweetest word ever uttered. I have eight beautiful grandchildren and each one is special in his or her own way. Holding a child in my arms and reading to that child is one of my greatest joys. Sharing a book with a child is not only a way to teach but a way to learn. I think I have found out some of lifeÂ’s most interesting facts while sharing books with my grandchildren. And itÂ’s not always what the book teaches as much as the interpretation and comments that you hear from the child you hold in your arms. So for all the Moms and Grandmas and maybe even some Dads and Grandpas, I hope you pick up this book or any book and share it with your special child in your life. Thank you, Cora Miskimen

  • God Still Speaks to Me

    Barbara Kirby

    language (PublishAmerica, Sept. 23, 2011)
"God Still Speaks To Me is an experiential journey with God. Once you give your life to Christ and turn back into the world, your life will never be the same. This is a testimony of my life and experiences with God as a youth, a Christian and a backslider. More so, it is about the mercy, tenderness and goodness of God's love and his covenant with the backslider. This book is for people who want to have a real relationship with God: to know Him in all His Glory and to have the presence of God in your life. You have read about my experience in the spiritual realm and how the Glory of God overshadowed me. All of this comes with a price; yes, there is a price to pay- the price of submission. God calls each of us from our mother's womb. The prophet Jeremiah in # 1:5 concurs: "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee and before thou camest forth of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee to be a prophet unto the nations."Each of us has a calling on our life. I challenge you to read this book and see if this is you. Your life will never be the same."

EddieÂ’s intensified verbal attacks on Jim, a less fortunate classmate, make Dan uncomfortable. Dan can feel the spirit of the coming season, but Eddie threatens to crush the joy it brings. Dan is unsure if he should risk his place in his world by defending Jim at the cost of alienating himself from his friends. If he should opt for the heroic road, he may lose all he has, yet the tragedy that lurks down the darker road seems, to him, far more dangerous still. Pressures abound with a lot on the line.
