The idea of this collection began with the training of baby Ellaine to pray. I would tell her, âNow pray the prayer of Jabez!â She would falter and blubber through the short prayer and weâd repeat until she committed it to heart. âNow pray the prayer of Moses!â She would close her eyes trying to remember and I really would enjoy her frustrationsâŚthen rejoice at the sudden breakthrough as she burst out laughing spewing out scriptures! The game of prayer went on until she could recite complete portions witch ease. When you create time for it, itâs great fun. She is only 5! If Elaine can do it, you can do it too! Letâs do it!The prayers of the bible are extremely strategic. When we pray these prayers we are not merely copying what those who prayed said. We are expressing the heart of God. We are praying the will of God.The selected portions do not represent all the prayers of the Bible but these will suffice to fill your own prayers with greater power than you have ever known.Endeavour to memorize and put these prayers to heart just as you have done with the Lordâs Prayer. All these prayers have their place but there is nothing wrong in praying the same daily if you can. Meditate on the same and pray the same over your family, congregation, group, fellowship, business or nation. As someone has said, in Heaven, God has no dustbin for prayers.MEMORIZATIONThis book captures only the heart of the prayers in question for ease in memorization. For instance in the repentance prayer of David in psalms 51, the entire prayer is not captured. Only the most graphic portion is captured. Itâs the same for many of the portions herein. The idea is not to overwhelm even the youngest child. Anyone can memorize these prayers and personalize them. They are titled according to the people who prayed them! The prayer of Moses, The prayer of Deborah etc!BIBLE CHARACTERSOne of the best way to teach kids about bible characters is through the words of the characters. Prayers of those people are their words. Every prayer denotes the circumstances the people who prayed were facing. Beyond the prayers, the kids will want to explore the bible characters who offered these prayers and why they offered such prayers.PRAYERSOnce the kid has learnt and memorized a few prayers, you can always ask the kid to pray âthe prayer of so and soâ as prompters to his/her prayer habituation and memory trigger. Once the prayers have stuck with the kids, they will never be forgotten because God backs his word. The prayers will become a strong foundation for character building and a spiritual legacy for the parents to their children.VOCABULARYAs you go through the prayers, you will notice your child will start coming across strange words and new vocabulary. It will be a great time to not only learn how to pray but a time to revisit âEnglish and simple Theologyâ. Immediately you pray the first prayer of Moses the kid may ask, âWhat is Glory?â Take your time to explain new words patiently with illustrations.GODâS PROMISE TO PARENTSAs I prayerfully put this book together, the Lord clearly promised the parents who take time to go with their kids through these prayers that; they will observe the Lord will keep their said kids pure and preserve them as virgins even unto marriage.Itâs an incredible promise especially for those parents who worry about the aggressiveness of the sex revolution sweeping our world. God is able to keep those who love him from falling and to present them to himself blameless and with exceedingly great Joy.CONTENTS:1.The prayer of Moses2.The prayer of Isaiah3.Prayer of the Tax collector!4.The prayer of Jacob5.The prayer of Jesus, for himself6.The prayer of Jesus, for disciples7.The prayer of Jesus, for the world8.The prayer of Jesus, grand finale9.The prayer of Jabez10.The Lordâs prayer11.The prayer of Disciples12.The prayer of Paul 113.The prayer of
