  • The great small cat, and others; seven tales

    May E. Southworth

Paperback (Leopold Classic Library, July 9, 2015)
About the Book Fairy tales, wonder tales, magic tales are a folklore genre taking the form of a short story that typically includes magical beings such as dragons, elves, fairies, giants, gnomes, goblins, griffins, mermaids, talking animals, trolls, unicorns, or witches. Generally, magic or enchantments are involved. Fairy tales are distinguished from legends, are mainly derived from European tradition and folk lore, and are generally children's literature. Mythology has a broader and older pedigree than fairy tales, dating back to ancient times in a number of European, African, Middle Eastern and Asian civilizations. Best known among these to Western audiences are Ancient Greek and Old Norse myths and legends. Generally, these myths and legends describe epic quests, journeys and interactions between human adventurers or heroes and god-like deities. Also in this Book A short story collection is a book that contains short stories written by a single author. It is distinguished from an anthology of fiction, which includes stories by more than one author. About us Leopold Classic Library has the goal of making available to readers the classic books that have been out of print for decades. While these books may have occasional imperfections, we consider that only hand checking of every page ensures readable content without poor picture quality, blurred or missing text etc. That's why we: republish only hand checked books; that are high quality; enabling readers to see classic books in original formats; that are unlikely to have missing or blurred pages. You can search "Leopold Classic Library" in categories of your interest to find other books in our extensive collection. Happy reading!
  • The Great Small Cat and Others

    May E. SOUTHWORTH ( - )

    MP3 CD (IDB Productions, Jan. 1, 2017)
A volume of 7 stories of cats. Note that most of these stories have the most depressing finale. The collection consists of: The Great Small Cat; Thursday; A Mine, a Miner, and a Cat; Aïda and Saadi; Marooned; Maida; and A Memory. Might be hard, as a feline and not a mutt. Many years ago, there was some animals called as a tamed cat, dogs had by that time hightailed with all the awards for trustworthiness, integrity and definitely as a man’s best friend. Or relatively, they would have chased an easier path and afterwards changed course right over and ran back once more, for a mutts’ area is, certainly, by his master’s or the lady master’s point of view. Insomuch as the earliest cat skittered outside of the ferocious and into a mouse-full Neolithic town, cats have been hustling to draw near. Cats’ quite expressionless looks do not do them few encouragements. Whether he is snarling or smirking a real indication, surely, that he asks you to love him, it is not hard to acquire an impolite notion of what a mutt is contemplating precisely from taking a look at his expressionless face, without interfering in every hint that shows from his gestures. Not many felines, who will by chance rest across you and glare at you quietly for a bit before leaving, it seems that he is unaffected to your company, not considering of what you feel. Felines have varying concerns to hounds. As opposed to dogs, whose wolf forbearers passed on them a gift for creating communal network, cats are lowered from a cloistered, areal animal. For an onliest carnivore such as a lynx, a thorough information of its shooting terrains, the locations where pillage is seemingly devoured and those where it is not, will make the distinction of exorbitance and hunger.
