  • Discipulus Secretus: Discovery of the Hidden Order

    S L Rogers

Paperback (ChoiceSkills, Incorporated, March 4, 2013)
Sarah's mother had died while Sarah was still young, but the stories of that death never felt right to Sarah. As a teenager Sarah discovers a note written by her mother before she died that gives her clues as to what had happened. There are deep secrets hidden, which may get her and the others she loves killed as well. From Illuminati and magic to over seas adventures, from solving mysteries to fighting for her life, Sarah has to dig deep to find courage to challenge the unknown and find answers that may change her life forever. It's difficult to know who she can trust and who is hiding the answers she's desperately searching for. Only one thing is certain: Sarah will get to the bottom of this no matter what it takes. ------------------------------- This book is self-published and, as much as I may hate to admit it, there may still be some rough edges. However I, as the author/publisher, love learning. Writing this book has been incredibly fun, and hearing both what you like and what I can do better is an exciting way for me to find new ways to get better at writing and story telling. As a new author I don’t think I can ever get too much feedback. So if you’re adventurous enough to read this book, I’d love to hear what you think.

  • The Between Season

    Rogers Lon Rogers, Lon Rogers

    Paperback (iUniverse, Dec. 10, 2009)
What happened to Fischer wasn't my fault. In 1944, the year it all started, a war between nations engulfed the world. That same year the students of New Canaan High School waged another kind of war. I, Tucker Landis, became its champion and its casualty. Back then my high school and my hometown held my entire universe. All my gods lived there. So did my demons.... Most of us had grown up in New Canaan or on neighboring farms and ranches. We had known each other all our lives, yet at school we segregated ourselves into exclusive cliques of our own making. Everyone held a defined rank and a prescribed place in the hierarchy. The rules were brutal. One misstep could ruin a reputation and doom the offender to the most dreaded of all punishments: ridicule. Ridicule had girls bawling in the restroom at school, and guys sobbing into their pillows at night... Fischer recognized all of this, but unlike the rest of us, he understood something more: the hierarchy held no power over those who simply ignored it. With that profound insight, Fischer would wage his own private war. The Between Season is his story!

  • Lost Indian Gold

    Rogert G. Rogers

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, May 2, 2012)
Lost Indian Gold began as a bed time story to my daughters who asked for a story of my adventures when I was a teen. I hadn’t any, but told them the story of a young boy, Spud, who became lost in the swamps when his family was evicted from their farm. He soon teamed with two girls his age, Laura and Suzy, and two Indians, Cricket and Gold Eagle, to discover the lost Indian treasure ahead of two local bullies. But, before he did, he had to scrap for his life when a ’gator got after him and was forced to act like a “swamp creature” in a County Fair.
