Eric and the Lone Rover is a comic style books of the trials and tribulations of country kids their adventures and their mischief and accidents. They get into all types of spots when Eric's little sister tires to join in and help. The dog Rover called the Lone Rover always ends up worse. This was featured in a local newspaper on a weekly basis and became a favorite weekly event.

Sally loves visiting her Grandma who lives on the other side of the forest, She always takes her small horse Jinky on visits. Fawn and Rabbit live in the forest and are friends of Sally and Grandma. One day Sally has a bright idea to surprise Grandma. Fawn and Rabbit join in, but Grandma surprises them instead. This is an endearing story with gorgeous photographs and will delight small children.The wonderful photos were taken in a studio. The characters are cute and will become a favorite. Lynne the author /illustrator set them with background scenes which bring them to life.

In seventh grade they decide they don’t want to end up working their adult lives away like their parents. In an effort to prevent that, the Crew boldly creates and develops a prosperous underground enterprise that earns them over five million dollars by their senior year. They get away with every penny and retire to ranches in Montana. Join the Crew on their lucrative escapade.

Benjamin was a very shy boy in grade two. He was a terrific walker but a reluctant talker. One day on a school beach excursion he ignores his teacher's advice and walks so far he becomes lost. He sees many things on the beach in his travels and he is positive if he keeps walking he will be able to meet up with his class mates and join them at the zoo. He is reluctant to ask anybody the directions because he considers his beach speech is not good enough. Because Benjamin is missing it does not work out for the class mates so they miss out. This is rhyme . The backgrounds are beach paintings from my vast sold collection . I thought they worked out rather well. Adults and children will enjoy this book, it is quirky bright and colourful and in rhyme.

Another Benjamin Poe adventure. This time Benjamin walks to a farm. He calls it a funny farm because he considers all the animals are very funny. A cow tries to stand on it's head and another cow talks to a duck as it flies overhead. There is a dog who loves to ride a horse. Benjamin has a wonderful day and plans to come back another day. Large print for young children. Bright pictures.

James is the littlest bear of three bears in his family. He tends to tell stories to get attention, so no one believes anything he says. When he really does have an adventure with a naughty seagull, no one believes him until the seagull is injured. It is up to James to come to the rescue! This delightful children's book was written and illustrated by Lynne Pickering, who says, "We owned a childcare center for nine years and there were some children with behavioral problems. I often found if manners and examples of good Samaritan deeds were explained in a story concerning animals, the children often took notice and an improvement could be seen in them. If stories are told in a humorous and enjoyable tale, it gets through to them in a childlike way." She adds, " I love painting, and it was enjoyable to paint this cute little shaggy bear and his adventures with this naughty seagull. The characters took a life of their own once I painted them."
