  • JAMANDA'S CHILDREN 3: MAGICAL TWINS FAITH & HOPE WITH THE WATER PEOPLE TO THE RESCUE

    MAURICE DOSSO

    language (, Sept. 13, 2015)
Magical twins Faith and Hope, Soleil's children, became the adopted children and goddaughters of Jamanda. They are growing, becoming more independent, building and enlarging their personal circle of friends, and gaining more and more in magical strength and wizardly power. When their friend Dr. Laura Landaverde runs into serious trouble with the law and a particularly ambitious prosecutor named Courbevoie who is determined to lock her up for life, ruin her successful medical career and everything she has worked for, Faith and Hope assure Dr. Landaverde that they wouldn't let it happen to her. Everyone has secrets and so does Chief Assistant District Attorney Patricia Anna Courbevoie. Prosecutor Courbevoie is tough, wins all her cases, smashes and chews up all her opponents and adversaries. But she has a deeply hidden secret inside of her. Faith and Hope use their magical power to make Prosecutor Courbevoie's past catch up with her. Courbevoie then faces a dilemma: she either has to drop all charges against Dr. Landaverde or Jeremiah Johnson and his insane cousin that everybody calls Cercueil and who drives around in a former funeral home car for the dead will come back and finish a job they started twenty years ago. This time, Faith and Hope promise Prosecutor Courbevoie, no one will ever find her. No person has pronounced the names of Jeremiah Johnson or Cercueil in front of Ms. Courbevoie in nearly twenty years. She never told anyone. She was totally shocked to hear little Faith and Hope talk about Jeremiah Johnson and Cercueil. And she wondered how they knew about an event that happened so long ago in another state when they weren't even born yet, and that she never brought up with anyone around her in North Carolina. The mere mention of those names was enough to make her almost pass out. What would Prosecutor Courbevoie do? How would Faith and Hope ultimately save Dr. Landaverde? What would happen to the newly renovated courthouse of Judge Harris Dogman III? What would the Goddess-mother Jamanda and the water people do to support Faith and Hope in their efforts to save Dr. Laura Landaverde?
