  • TOBY-He's My Dog

    Mr. Frank T. Barber

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Dec. 7, 2014)
TOBY (He’s My Dog) By Frank Barber This Book is the story of the Author’s experiences with his dog named Toby, starting when Toby was acquired as a 3-month old male Golden Retriever puppy in 2004 and continuing until the present day. The Book is based on the fact that the Author has for many years sent out a Christmas Letter to family and friends, recounting the events that had occurred since the previous year’s Letter. When Toby was acquired in April of 2004, a new paragraph was added to the 2004 Christmas Letter, describing the adventures of Toby during the first eight months of his life. As this book is being written, Toby is now 10 years old, and the Author has a collection of ten Christmas letters each of which has a Toby Paragraph describing Toby’s adventures during the year. This Book presents the collection of these ten Toby Paragraphs, with a total of ten Chapters. Chapter 1 quotes the 2004 Toby Paragraph (with Pictures); Chapter 2 quotes the 2005 Toby Paragraph (with pictures); and so on through Chapter 10 which has the 2013 Toby Paragraph. In each Year’s Toby Paragraph, the Author always adds a small humorous twist – nothing hilarious – but enough to perhaps bring a smile to the reader. The Book has not only the usual Title Page, Table of Contents, and Author’s Preface at the beginning, but also ends with a Table of Exhibits, and Appendix of Miscellaneous Pictures, and an Index.
