  • All About A Foot Soldier

    Roy F. Chandler

    language (Katherine R. Chandler, Aug. 16, 2012)
23 pages. A fun picture book for children. All About a Foot Soldier was written in 1965 when novelist Roy Chandler's sister adopted an infant boy. Wishing to honor the event, Chandler wrote and drew the cartoon story as a gift to his sister. The family enjoyed and preserved the tale through two generations until it was decided to print and distribute the short manuscript for their greater family. It was immediately discovered that Oog, the starring character held appeal far beyond Chandler relatives. The imaginative tale is now offered as an e-book.
