Joey is determined to become an astronaut and he practices every day. But his family, and community, have a hard time seeing past his autism. Then, Ben Walker moves in across the street. At first, he sees Joey’s practicing as just silly and annoying, but little by little, Ben finds himself being inspired by Joey’s passion for outer space. The two boys form a powerful friendship that will survive a relentless school bully, and even adults, who try to come between them. Ultimately, they will both learn that every person has a special purpose in life, regardless of any perceived limitations.
