Little Grey Rabbit is one of the classic gems of children's literature. The series is being relaunched, tying in with a new, beautifully animated television adaptation, and will delight children as much today as when it was first published seventy years ago. One morning, little Fuzzypeg the Hedgehog wakes up very early. "I'm going to school," he sings excitedly, and rolls downstairs in a prickly ball. "Don't be late," his mother calls to him, as she waves goodbye. When Tim and Bill Hedgehog see their cousin Fuzzypeg trotting down the road with his fine new school bag, they want to go to school too. So the three of them set off happily for Jonathan Rabbit's school with its walls of blackberry bushes and ceiling of blue sky.
