Other editions of book Insects

An introduction to insects. The reader is given the opportunity to find out more about insects and the insect class by looking at the young of different species. Each book in the "Animal Young" series introduces an animal class and then looks in detail at the young, including birth, growth, feeding, learning, hunting, where they live and how they behave. Domestic and wild animals are compared and contrasted to help young children to understand similarities and differences.
