Other editions of book Materials

Six entertaining new books have been added to Science Alive! Children will get a thrill out of participating in simple, fun experiments that help show how different scientific principles work. They will also be inspired by history boxes that offer short biographies of scientists and inventors. Materials are the things we see around us everyday; they keep buildings from falling down and our toothpaste from crumbling. Simple experiments help explain acidity, absorption, water buoyancy, and properties of engineering and construction.
