Chatty was very happy when she was allowed to take care of little Babette, a Siamese kitten, and Babette's mother, Cellophane, who belonged to "the man upstairs." She warmed milk for them on the radiator, and thought up games to entertain them, and pretended that Babette belonged to her. But she still wanted her very own kitten and this is the story of how she got it. VERY CUTE!
