My reasons for writing this book is simply to show the community how much cheek a person can have and still escape the vigilance com mittee. I acknowledge my culpability and can plead no excuse. But should any of my few readers dis cover any latent spark of genius that is commendable, or unearth any thought that may be considered sensi ble, please consider it an error of the head and not of the heart and I disavow it.
