"My Chiquitin" An inspirational, true story about a little girl growing up with only one parent, because Mom and Dad had a divorce. She is not only an only child, but also the first Grand Daughter. With Grandma playing a big role in her life, she has a wonderful childhood. Her aunt that is only a few years older takes the place of a big sister, which was very nice until this little girl finds a new pet she names Chiquitin (Chiquitin, a cute way of saying small in Spanish). While most kids have dogs or cats for pets, this little one chose to have a real live chicken. She actually takes care of this baby chicken with so much love, and she talks about it all the time. One day when she is hospitalized and may not survive, she inspires the other children at the same hospital by sharing her adventures with them about her Chiquitin (Chiquitin, a cute way of saying small in Spanish). She is a good example to other kids. Growing up with one parent is not so bad. Where there is love and unity in the family that loves you and you love them, there is a: Home Sweet Home. With good family values and morals, there is nothing impossible with God.
