Emmy Behm is about to stop being a tweener and start being a teenager. Like every girl her age she has a few issues. If she isn’t trespassing in the downtown business district or on her neighbor Mrs. Wickham’s estate, she is being accused of shoplifting and theft by the town’s night watchman, who clearly has it out for her. Then there are some personal changes she needs to deal with: her body is changing, "poking" out in places she doesn't know what to do about; and high school is a year away and that not only means her appearance needs to change, but so do her haunts and habits.
