    Hardcover (W. & R. Chambers Ltd., London, March 15, 1960)
Shipped from UK, please allow 10 to 21 business days for arrival. Very Good, Chambers Reprint 1960. Very good clean tight sound, gently shaken, no bookplate, inscription or ownership marks, remarkably free from foxing or browning. In very good bright gilt ruled and lettered blue cloth, with like unclipped (6d) colour pictorial dustwrapper, featuring characteristic scene of Chalet girls in snow-clad Swiss hills to upper portrait of Chalet girl to spine. Great shelf presence, with No. 5 denoting position in the Chalet School Series of 58. Evidently the dustwrapper has been preserved with a wrap, since removed, so is in very good clean crisp condition, with the very lightest of rubbing to corners and chipping to spine not intruding or detracting. Pale ghost mark of sellotape remain to endpapers. A charming and nostalgic treat for reader and collector alike, in lovely condition, this early tale in the series would grace any library. We are selling many more Chalet School books in like great condition, bought from the same collector; please check our listings.
