I Broke my Arm is part of the Key Skills strand (High Frequency Words) of Cambridge Reading. It is a recount by a child who falls off a swing and goes in an ambulance to hospital to have an x-ray and a plaster fitted. It ends with the child happy and back on the swing. Photographs are used to make the books real and relevant to children's own experiences.
