Other editions of book To the End of the World

This novella is Part I of an eventual novel with the working title The Apostle’s Scribe. Bern, born early in the First Century in northern Germania, becomes the slave of a prominent Roman provincial governor. The young German develops a gift for languages, leading later to his role as interpreter on a mission to find trade connections to link Asia Minor with his master’s province in Gaul. By the end of this novel, in a novella to be published in the future, Bern will become scribe to the man we have come to know as the Apostle Paul.
