  • Cirque Du Freak, Three Books in One: A Living Nightmare, The Vampire's Assistant, Tunnels of Blood

    Darren Shan

Paperback (Little Brown, Jan. 1, 2007)
Darren Shan writes a lot of books like this one that have a horrifying plot and a creative ending that provide great entertainment to the readers. The characters are terrifying monsters and a couple of boys that meet these monsters. This could be a great scary story to tell friends around a campfire. In the beginning of the book, two dare devilish boys go wondering around one day and find a flyer for a festival called “cirque Du Freak” where they meet a handful of monster which seem to just be real people. The book brought a little fright to me also because of all the scary events that occur. But overall the book was very entertaining. Any average reader can read this book and be satisfied with the storyline, but you will have to read it to find out what really happens.
