The sequel to “Christie’s old Organ”. In Christie, the King's Servant, a young man named Jack, goes for an extended holiday to Runswick Bay in Yorkshire, England, to pursue his work as an artist. There, he is invited by a couple of children to open air religious services and goes just to satisfy them. The children's father is a preacher and the family invites Jack to visit them. Through a series of events Jack is led to Salvation. We don’t’ want to spoil the surprises or the connections to the characters in the first book but read for yourself to find out. Meet The Author Amy Catherine Walton, better known as Mrs O F Walton, was a British author of Christian children's and teenage books, mainly but not exclusively fiction. Then in 1874 came one of her best known books, Christie's Old Organ, which has been regularly reprinted up to the present day. It is the story of orphaned Christie and his friend the aged organ-grinder Treffy.

O F Walton (1849 - 1939) also known as May Walton was a British author. She wrote Christian books for children and teens. Written in 1874 Christie's Old Organ was her best known books. It is the story of orphaned Christie and his friend the aged organ-grinder Treffy. Christie: The King's Servant is the sequel and follows Christie's growing faith in God. An excerpt reads. "That night I had a strange dream. I thought I was once more on the village green. It was a wild, stormy night, the wind was blowing hard, and the rain was falling fast; yet through the darkness I could distinguish crowds of figures gathered on the green. On the side farther from the sea there was a bright light streaming through the darkness. I wondered in my dream what was going on, and I found that it was a tug of war, taking place in the darkness of the night. I saw the huge cable, and gradually as I watched I caught sight of those who were pulling. That night I had a strange dream. I thought I was once more on the village green. It was a wild, stormy night, the wind was blowing hard, and the rain was falling fast; yet through the darkness I could distinguish crowds of figures gathered on the green. On the side farther from the sea there was a bright light streaming through the darkness. I wondered in my dream what was going on, and I found that it was a tug of war, taking place in the darkness of the night.
