And hé' died, as he had lived, in New York, while the scene of the story is a small village in County Galway. It is, however, necessary to write down a few words about Nathan P. Dann.He was by birth and descent an Irishman. Very early in life, at about the age of nineteen, he left Ireland and went to America. There he prospered and became very rich. This is an important fact. If Nathan P.
