The book has been well cared for & is otherwise unmarked but the graffiti on the flyleafs makes you shake your head & wonder what possessed the original owner of this book.
  • Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal

    Ayn Rand

Mass Market Paperback (Signet, Nov. 1, 1967)
1967, mass market paperback reprint edition, Signet / NAL, NY. 349 pages. Note: the material here is 90+ Ayn Rand; there are, however, additional articles by Nathaniel Branden, Alan Greenspan, and Robert Hessen. There are very few titles that literally jar the reader, spinning your head around in the process. I certainly recall Generation of Vipers, which had little good to say about mothers; Latins Make Lousy Lovers, which definitely put a different spin on things at the time; and this book, Capitalism, which had everything to say about altruism. Rand's philosophy is contained here. You may not agree with her findings, but her statements will challenge you, for sure.
