Two Peddler hardcovers, theVision of Desire and the Barbarian Lover, they are a matching pair, nearly identical in appearance and condition, may have come together in a box. No jackets, no box now. Both published by Hurst, one in 1922 and one in 1923. Both have a name inside and both suffer from the same original mediocre construction Hurst was famous for, all there, inside pages faded, bindins a a litte weak, corenrs rounded and some fraying on spines.

This is a reproduction of the original artefact. Generally these books are created from careful scans of the original.
