The Classics- a voyage of discovery is a skills-based resource that develops key reading and research skills using authentic narrative and poetry texts. This book contains 14 lesson plans, each accompanied by an original classic or modern text, a research skills section to support and encourage independent research skills, differentiated book reviews that enable children to comment upon each text they read and a CD containing a biography of each author and differentiated research activities.
