Paperback (Mirror Publishing, March 9, 2016)
For reader 3-9... Young children are introduced to the wonderful world that lies beyond the borders of their own home, learning about how we are all alike...and different from each other at the same time. If we look at what we can see, we may be alike (two eyes, ten fingers, one nose) and different (height, build, hair color, skin tone) at the same time, but if we look at what we cannot see (our pleasures, our hopes, our dreams, and our enjoyment with each other), we find that we are all, under the skin, so to speak, pretty much alike. Beginning with family, and then moving outward to other people in our neighborhood and beyond, we see the great diversity in humanity. While it is easy to note our differences, just a bit more thought will reveal the many ways we are like one another.
