Three lads, Nelson Tilford, Tom Ferris and Bob Hethington from Hilton Academy, and Dan Speede from sports rival St. Eustace, (see the earlier "Hilton" series, by the same author, for more adventures at these schools) meet and become fast friends at Camp Chicora, a New Hampshire summer camp. The usual adventures and hijinx which occur at boys' camps ensue.
