    Leah's grandfather has been carried away by mutants to the Castle of Gloom, where he is being held captive by the dreadful Mordred. "Gramps" is the caretaker of Foreverwood Forest, but Mordred wants to take if for himself, and to destroy it. With "Gramps" imprisoned in his dungeon, nothing can stop Mordred from destroying the forest except Leah and her newfound Foreverwood Forest friends. They will need to cross the gray wasteland to the Castle of Gloom, and avoid Mordred's soldiers, mutabeasts and mutaraptors along the way. And they will need to sneak past a fearsome giant... 50% of the author's royalties will benefit Wild Ranch, a small, privately owned nature preserve in southern Colorado.
