    Occupied Denmark 1943: in a remote fishing village, fifteen year old Jens Neilson struggles to break free from his over protective family. While looking for materials, Jens finds a downed RAF air gunner in an abandoned boatshed. Instantly, Jens is hurled into a life of increasing danger with the Resistance, when he and his Grandfather help the man to escape. Alone, Jens has to cares for his injured Grandfather, saves Karen from Lars ‘treachery and hides his father’s new design for a ship’s propeller. Without warning, the Germans arrest Danish Jews for relocation in Germany and Karen and her brothers are now on the run. Helpless, jens must watch his father’s execution for sabotage.Can Jens believe Lars’ warning that the Germans are on their way to arrest him and search for the plans of the new design, Tome has run out for the grieving Jens Neilson. The Faering must prove seaworthy enough to take them all to Sweden, if Jens is to save Karen, her brothers and save his father’s plans.
