I wasn’t prepared for the smokin’ hot hockey player I was suddenly supposed to think of as a brother. Well, okay, “stepbrother.” He was the hottest guy in my high school. I’d wanted to run my fingers through his hair since the seventh grade—but now, suddenly, he was my stepbrother. So, off-limits. Not that he cared. But when he tosses my dirt-bag ice-skating partner out the window (literally) he also tosses out my dreams for the ice-skating competition I’d been working towards. Sure, he feels bad. Not about breaking my skating-partner’s leg—but about shattering my competition dreams. BUT does he feel bad enough to put his ice-skating skills to something other than hockey?—like, ice-skating to music, and twirling me around while he does it? I used to be able to get him to do anything I wanted, using the “sister” card … but that was before. Too bad I told him I hate him; and that he’s been avoiding me since he gave me a passionate forbidden kiss. (I want some more of those.) …but I mentioned I told him I hate him, right?Too bad it’s totally the opposite.Standalone teen romanceTwo-hour readNo book needs to be read before or after this bookBy Melanie Marks, author of His Kiss; and The Boyfriend ContractThis book also includes another romantic teen story by Melanie Marks.
