In Home Away From Home the author describes Nicole's experience of three years at Boarding School; the friends Nicole makes, some lessons that are hard to understand, both personal and academic, and sports that she is involved in. Nicole goes through some hardships, but also learns lessons that she will take with her long after she leaves Whitney Academy.
