This copy is clean, tight, square with extremely good corners and unmarked with the exception of original owner's name on front flyleaf. This book is perfect in every way, some slight surface soil. Gold gilt top text blockedges are brillant, other edges deckled. The corners are very good. The boards are covered by a patterned cloth, tan in color and there's a gold leather rectangle on the spine with gold titles (slightly rubbed). The book is extensively illustrated with photographis from nature by the author. The overall condition of this book is very good.

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact.
