As a child, I truly enjoyed reading Aesop's fables. One of my favorite stories was 'The Tortoise and the Hare'. In this classic tale the Hare learns a painful lesson about being overconfident.As such, I always wondered what would happen if the Tortoise agreed to a rematch. In this short story by T. R. Pittman, we get the chance to see whether or not the Hare learned his lesson!
