A young female, Starr, is going through some tough times. She gets saved by someone after being in a severe stabbing. That someone is Lord Obsidian. He is a business owner of an old fortress, called Shady Thorn, that sales baked goods, and weapons. Lord Obsidian takes her in, and heals her up if only she works, and joins him at Shady Thorn. Starr agrees and gets healed, but realizes that Lord Obsidian is a vampire. It’s too late to back out now. She got healed, and she had agreed in working, and joining him at Shady Thorn. She dreads in becoming a vampire as she sees that everyone in the old fortress are vampires. Starr is uneasy, but overcomes the fear of becoming a vampire as everyone is kind to her, including the vampire king. The vampire king has been cursed for years now, and it’s up to Starr to figure out a cure, and a war is beginning to erupt between the humans and vampires.
