Audible Audiobook (Zondervan, Nov. 6, 2018)
Includes an audiobook exclusive interview wtih Sandi Patty and her husband, Don Peslis! Christian music icon and 40-time Dove award winner, Sandi Patty has long astounded listeners with her powerful voice. And yet, off the stage, Sandi struggled to have a voice at all. Through deeply intimate stories of her life and the empowering spiritual truths she's learned, Sandi offers listeners wisdom to navigate the journey from voicelessness to discovering the voice God has given you. With a poignant history of sexual abuse, infidelity, divorce, and crises of self-image, Sandi lived much of her life feeling unworthy of love or value. And like so many of us, she coped by living through the voices of others, allowing other people to prescribe her identity. As she performed around the world, Sandi met others just like her, who hid wounds behind quiet smiles and struggled to live with fractured identities. Sandi's warm and invitational words will draw you to the voice of God who sings over your life saying you are seen, you are loved, and your voice is worth hearing. With timeless wisdom, The Voice will help you uncover your God-given identity and a voice of your very own. "God heard my voice even when I couldn't hear it myself and then his voice broke through my walls and wounds, insecurities and self-doubts. I am voiceless no more!"

During her abduction and assault, Audrey begins to hear a voice. She hopes she's not going crazy, because after what she's experienced, that's the most logical explanation. However, as she begins to listen to the voice, Audrey realizes that someone may be telepathically trying to help her.Unfortunately, rescue isn't all she needs. In order to leave behind the constant reminders, she flees to her Aunt Kate's house in San Diego, and assumes a new identity. It works until the eighteen-year-old twin boys who live next door threaten to break through the protective walls she's worked so hard to build.Between Caleb going out of his way to befriend her and Justin avoiding her at all costs, Audrey doesn't know if normalcy will ever find her again. But one thing is certain: When a familiar danger resurfaces, it's the same voice that she turns to -- a voice that is not only real, but a lot closer than she realizes.Gripping and tastefully told, The Voice is a story of healing, trust, and courage.

Connor's dad passed away recently and he's not feeling very good about it, so he decides to ask God for some answers by getting down on his knees and praying. He's a little surprised when God answers his prayer directly. About the BookThe Voice began as a letter to my nephew and niece after their father, my brother, died of cancer. About an hour into writing, this story appeared on my computer screen. Ever since its inception, "The Voice" has touched many hearts, but as of this publishing (and the writing of this introduction) it has not been read to my nephew and niece. I am very curious to find out what they will think of it, so this introduction will be a short one.
