This is a story about boys being boys, and a compassionate caretaker who guided the boys by her love and lightness. They’re not supposed to play upstairs, but they’re home alone, so…The author and illustrator of this book is Terry Lindsay, a family man, an artist, and an elementary art teacher. The father of two was 43 years old at the time of his passing, in 1996, when he fell into a river with a whirlpool. Before his tragic drowning, he completed a first draft of The Most Amazing Day in the mid-1990s, and this book remained unpublished until November 2015. It is available here for the first time, published by Wild Family TV.
