When Jevon traded city life for a life in paradise, he didn’t know that he would embark upon such great adventures. As the cool breeze hit the leaves causing them to rustle as they floated around the fruit trees. He stood at the base of the tree mesmerised by the smell and colour of the ripe Julie mangoes. He had never seen a mango tree before. In fact, London had not afforded him such privileges. Swapping air pollution for clean fresh air and overcrowded streets with picturesque landscapes with views of the Caribbean Sea was a welcoming opportunity for him. His mother, Ruby had talked about the many fruit trees and the big yard she grew up in, but the paradise she described was much better than he could have imagined. He had fallen in love with his new home but there was one problem, his curiosity had gotten the better of him. Daunted by the fact that he was not prepared to let anyone, not his parents, not his siblings and certainly not his classmates, discover his secret, Jevon was determined to solve this mystery.
