I read the first two chapters and was very impressed. Really nice pace and rhythm and good consistency in voice and level. The dialogue is natural and flows well. Really liked the characterization throughout -Candy Ball was great (love the name) and I loved how you showed (not told) Mum's sense of loss through a very touching scene when she set an extra place at the table. A nice sense of intrigue building about the mystical i-pad and the Holiday Snatcher - two great competing and complimentary plots! 6 stars highly recommended...•I liked your story and it is written in an easy to understand and accessible style. I think this will appeal to 8 plus year olds. The characters are becoming nicely developed. ... I like the endings of your chapters, leaving the reader guessing what is about to happen. Great.
