Sparky is a misunderstood shark who tries to change himself to fit in â but eventually discovers thatâs not the problem. As far as sharks go, Sparky is one of the nicest sharks youâll ever meet, but people are always scared of him. Actually, Sparky is a super nice shark who just wants to hang with people, but for obvious reasons people do not want to hang with him â do you think it could be his large imposing teeth? The story starts off when Sparky notices a sign on the beach that says âNo Sharks Allowed.â Sparky tells his best pal Dax (a penguin) that he cannot go to the beach anymore, which really bothers him, and what about that Sand Sculpting Competition? The story continues on into an adventure as Sparky tries various silly ways to disguise his outer physical appearance so that heâll fit in better, but it is not until a âEurekaâ moment that Sparky the Shark finally gets it.Social Lessons for Kids- Creating characters children can relate to ensures the story is fun, light hearted and enjoyable.- A story that follows a journey of self discovery, self belief and the desire for acceptance.- Using humour as an anchor, these social lessons can be communicated in a fun way.- The story ends with a feel good upbeat resolution. Being true to yourself is the only way to live a full life.Reviewsâ
