Synopsis:The Cute Bouncy Bunny is a children's book that was inspired by enjoying nature and watching bunnies play in the grass. The story was originally a poem written for my younger brothers and sisters on April 9, 2003. I dedicate this book to my adorable nieces and nephews."The earliest incarnation of this book was way back in 2003, when I came home after walking with my younger sister, and she asked me to write something about the bunnies we had seen playing in the grass on our land. I penned a poem and illustration, but didn't really think anything of it," explains the author. "When unpacking boxes in my new home in Dallas last year I came across those documents as well as my notes. I suppose the rest is history!"

Baby Bunny Bouncing is a fun book at Easter and other times of the year. Young toddlers can practice their /b/ sound while learning about different books. Poor Baby Bunny goes too fast and too high and has an accident. Toddlers can practice compassion by saying, "I will put a band-aid on your boo-boo." The author, a retired speech/language pathologist realizes the importance of being able to print pictures from a book. For that reason she gives permission for purchasers of her book the right to copy images of balls and animals that are included in book. Of course, the copying can be done only for personal use in teaching by parents, caregivers, and teachers - not for commercial use. The author has also provided in the back of the book a Pre-Reading Early Literacy Guide with Storybooks to assist parents, teachers, speech-language pathologists and caregivers in reading tips.

The Baby and the Bunny was based on a real experience. After one of the Christmas dramas at the church, Terri went to the manger to put it away for yet another year. The baby Jesus doll was always swaddled and kept with the manger for safekeeping. As she went to pick it up, she saw that someone had swaddled a small stuffed little bunny with the doll. For a long time, she lingered over what she saw. Did a child do that? Did one of the adult actors put the sweet pair together? Either way, someone did not want the baby Jesus to be alone. For ten years, they were always together, no matter what the play. They will always be together and a very special part of every Christmas. For this is what Christmas is about-it is about love.
