In possession of a magical Bloodstone that, according to legend, is capable of performing Twelve Miracles, magician Zin Summerhaven and her friend, Luis Abril, set out to accomplish this very task. With the gifts of both human beings and magical creatures getting stronger as we near the End of the Age, the path to accomplishing the miracles runs very smoothly to start. Amidst such wonders as Jasper Diamonds and Blessing Boxes made by the angels, our heroes discover no shortage of the miraculous even in their everyday surroundings to include living boulders, magical topiaries, and the genies’ Magical Grapevine. However, when tragedy strikes very close to home midway through their project, Zin and Luis must work diligently to get back on track, or else much more will be lost than just the remaining miracles. Blessedly, while battling the likes of ancient teraphim and gifted miscreants, they receive help from unexpected sources. As events unfold, Zin ends up hot on the trail of solving a great mystery relating to Time itself. She also discovers that the miracles occurring in our world might be grander than anything we can imagine, perhaps even reaching to beyond the stars.
