What’s every teenager’s dream? Most would say to be able to do whatever they want without their parents pestering them with rules, but at the same time, having that stable home life. Well, Kayler and Kya have the best of both worlds, along with the rest of their squad in the Basement. Kayler and Kya are identical twins. What makes their situation unique, though, is that their parents are not aware they have two daughters. Their parents have always been under the impression they only had one daughter. Thus, this gives the girls the freedom to exchange places between their loving home life or their extremely exciting life in the secret, extravagant underground world of the Basement, where the rest of their friends, who are twins, (who’s parents are also not aware) do the same.Along with the normal rollercoasters of teenage life, all the twins realize why they were granted this amazing lifestyle…but when they have to start fighting for their lives, they start to wonder if it’s worth it. And they realize it is…of course it is. Although, it’s still up for debate what’s more stressful: fighting for their lives or teenage hormones and emotions.
