Imaginative Cammie struggles to make new friends, despite being shadowed by an annoying peanut detecting service dog, and her own need to solve a crime nobody believes happened. After Cammie Wilson moves with her mother to a small Colorado town, she witnesses what looks like a horrible crime. But no one, not even her uncle, the Police Chief, believes her. Her dad might, but he's away in Afghanistan. When a second body turns up and the town oddball is blamed, Cammie realizes she's the only one who knows enough to find the real culprit.
