  • Teenagers Beware

    Therlee Gipson

    language (CreateSpace, June 13, 2012)
I was once a teenager and if I had this book "Teenagers BEWARE! (Birth Defects)" it would have informed me on the major hazards that faced me in my life. Maybe I could have avoided them. Tips in this book are to educate the young people of the twenty first century. Therefore they will be forewarned about their future in life.I was compelled to write this book after observing High School teenage girls of today getting pregnant at an alarming rate. However, girls can be faced with so many temptations like smoking, alcohol, drug use and sexual pressures. It is important for girls to realize such behaviors can result in unplanned pregnancy, and with unhealthy lifestyle choices could result in premature birth. Even if the baby does survive being born prematurely, there is a high chance of lifelong illness. This dilemma could have been prevented if there were mandatory sex education in the schools starting in the sixth grade on Sex and Consequences classes; driving home the Safe Sex is No Sex practice until they are married and responsible adults to raise a family. This book, "Teenagers BEWARE! (Birth Defects)" should be a preventive tool to inform all teenagers of the hazards they are faced with in their daily lives. Tips in this book are to educate the young people so they will have knowledge. Topics included in this book are:Teenage BullyingSexual ResponsibilitySexual PromiscuitySexual OrientationSexual Transmitted DiseasesLiving with HerpesTeenage ObesityTeenage Marriage and DivorceTeenage Eloping Birth DefectsTherlee Gipson
  • The Teenager

    Ure Ude

(Lettra Press LLC, Nov. 12, 2018)
This book is timely in our society when family virtues have been under serious attack by high rate of divorces and long hours spent in the office or outside the home by parents. These have contributed in depriving our young people of love and care, and has left some of them disillusioned, confused, and clamoring for attention. The Teenager attempts to draw our attention to the good son, Morris, who was a product of dedicated loving parents and caring and concerned neighbors. It is also educational, instructional, and fun to read. Young people will see themselves in the characters of this book. Parents, guardians, teachers, foster parents, neighbors, and all that read it will see that young people need their help as they grow. Truly, it takes a village to raise a child.
  • The Teenager

    (Xlibris, April 30, 2015)
The narration of the teenager is about young Morris who lived with loving parents and good neighbors. Both the parents and the good neighbors were concerned about proper upbringing of young people. His parents lived by example because children learn by example. They taught him etiquette and good manners and values of a good society. The good neighbors organized a symposium to promote virtue among young people. Consequently, Morris grew up a good son. • Teenagers Eulogy

    Wayne Bryant

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Feb. 19, 2005)
It happens much too often, someone goes on a killing spree and murders our friends or loved ones without cause or provocation, we weep and ask why? Death is a subject no one likes to discuss at length whether young or old. Yet death and taxes are a certainty. I thought it best to write about this subject and alert our young people as well as older folk to this possibility and how to cope with it. Marie was not sure what was happening when she tearfully finished the eulogy for her best friend Betty. Was she seeing a ghost? This wasn’t a dream. Could she have crossed over to the other side for one final visit? Wait a minute, this is all so strange. It is not over yet. Someone else has something to say. Teenagers Eulogy takes you through the death of friends and finds happiness in closure.
