This book compiled in 1910 was made up of stories out of a four volume series of books published in 1577 titled Sabbath Readings. The four books were stories found from church papers of that day, Methodists, Lutheran, Presbyterian, etc. Great care was taken in compiling the books to avoid anything denominational that would hinder their circulation. Every story contains an important lesson that our young people desperately need.
