Sage is forced to leave her family and best friend behind to live in the safety of Aether where Gabriel can focus on her protection. Sage quickly learns that having visions isn’t really as fun as one might think and that being a Goddess isn’t all that glamorous.

During the summer of 2015, my family saved a baby bunny from the clutches of a crow. Unfortunately, the bunny was severely injured, and although we did everything we could for it, the bunny passed away. This unfair confrontation with mortality left me unable to sleep properly for weeks, so I turned to the one coping mechanism I use for all of my problems: writing. Later inspired by modernist authors, I took pieces of my writings and pieced together my first short story: SOLACE. This story is about a girl who's struggling with the idea of mortality, a boy who curses immortality, and the world which traps them both.
