  • Pauley the Pancake Boy

    B. R. Bowles

Hardcover (America Star Books, April 24, 2012)
Pauley, a special young pancake boy, starts off on his daily walk over the hillside, with his faithful dog Stew. He and his trusted companion soon meet Tim, a deaf boy, who is new to the neighborhood. He is crying from being bullied by the local children. Pauley and Tim soon become friends but, when they make their way to the school yard, they soon find out that sometimes bullies are closer than we realize. They also find that sometimes, when we assume things about one another, in a sense we can even become a bully. Pauley teaches us all some valuable lessons. Don't Judge one another. Don't be a bully, and "Be good to each other, so we all can go play."
