My First Piano Book

Sheet music

It's finally possible for a child to sit down at a real piano/keyboard and play their favorite song on their first try! With little or no musical experience to begin with! How it works: The booklet has stickers on the front which peel off and stick onto a real piano. Each color is different for every note. The sheet music in the book is designed in such a way as to allow immediate color matching skills to be applied for seamless playing. Imagine how motivating that must be! Motivation is the first step to a lifelong journey of music. You don't learn to read on novels, you learn with large font and colorful picture books. Reading music should be the same. Large notes and lots of colors! The child will learn to develop an ear for basic pitch, develop a habit of having to look up from the piano to reference the music, and back down (this is the biggest beginner delays finding your spot again after you've looked away), as well as be introduced to the positions of the notes in a gentle manner with little interference. The staff is a lighter color, still visible, but not to hinder the actual reading process of the notes. Remember, this is beginner steps, and super effective! Songs Include: Hot Cross Buns, Ode to Joy, Mary Had a Little Lamb, London Bridge, and Twinkle Little Star.
